MISSION AND BRIEF HISTORY

CDM HISTORY

Our growth began with a well-structured three-year program, funded through the UK’s Know-How Fund and delivered by Roffey Park Institute, UK, with which CDM has been affiliated since 1997.

The initial team consisted of 8 members and began operations on October 1, 1994
The Managerial Development Center Foundation was legally established in May 1995 by the British Embassy in Bucharest, Dacia Felix Bank, Banca Transilvania, the Cluj Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, the Cluj County Council, Babeș-Bolyai University, and the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
In 2008, CDM Consulting was created to offer tailored services in Organizational Development (OD).

Over the past 30 years, we have worked in Romania, as well as in several other European and even Asian countries, serving clients across various industries and nonprofit organizations. clienți din diferite industrii și pentru organizații non-profit.

Approach

Our Approach, CRESC, involves a collaborative practice through which, together with the client, we reach various relevant phases of organizational development and address the following questions:

Context – What is our contribution? What do we want to be or achieve?

Reality – What do we see now? What describes us? What patterns do we observe?

Evaluate Options – What can we do/try? What is worth understanding/learning? What new rules are useful to us?

Support – Who/what can help us? What resources are useful?

Contribution – What do we commit to doing? How will we proceed? How will we know if we are making progress?
